TPO support work and TEMPO assessment

Arboricultural expertise is a rare commodity.  Planning departments can find themselves needing additional support for arboricultural officers and Treecall Consulting can provide this.

We have supported Local Planning Authorities in the past in updating TPOs, assessing tree work applications and handling appeals. Treecall Consulting has experience of using the TEMPO system of assessing trees for inclusion or not in new tree preservation orders.

Decay detection and diagnosis

Treecall Consulting’s specialist decay detection equipment is available to support arboricultural officers giving additional information about suspect trees.

PiCUS tomograms help by providing cross sections showing decay within a tree; the IML Resistograph can detect weaknesses in roots, trunks or branches and the air spade can uncover root systems to aid in the assessment of root decay.
